The staff members at SHHC realize that language barriers often result in lower quality medical care. In an effort to provide the best possible quality of care, SHHC employs multilingual staff including employees that are trained in ASL.
In the event an interpreter is not available, SHHC will use an interpreting service by phone. This service provides translation in almost every language. In the event that an ASL speaking staff member is not available, SHHC uses Propio for ASL video interpretation.
