Dr. Thompson is an active member of the national psychiatric medicine community. He is the Medical Director and Founder of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Leadership Council, President of the American Association for Social Psychiatry, President of the Pittsburgh Psychiatric Society, and a Board Member and Founder of the American Association of Community Psychiatrists. Dr. Thompson is also active in the greater Pittsburgh community, rowing with the Three Rivers Rowing Association.
Dr. Thomspon is also fluent in Spanish.
